1916: SOME OLD POLICEMEN OF DAYS GONE BYE
During the Second World war Mr EH Lewis was appointed Brigadier in the Union Defence Force. He is also one of the founders of the Nongqai – first the Natal Police magazine and later the SA Forces Magazine. Finally The Nongqai became the Police and Prisons magazine until the name was changed by Minister FC Erasmus (Min of Justice) to Justitia.
