TED ELLIS COYLE
74, passed away on November 14, 2021, peacefully, at home with his daughters and wife by his side. On August 11, 1947, he was born in Indianapolis to the late Gene B. and Henrietta Coyle.

After graduating from Howe High School in 1965, he attended Purdue University, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He graduated in 1970 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
While working in Minneapolis, Minn., Ted met Jackie, and they quickly fell in love, marrying just six months later on June 30, 1973, in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. They moved back to Indianapolis and had two daughters, Meghan and Lyndsay. After a very successful sales career in the industrial packaging industry spanning over 50 years, Ted officially retired in June 2021.
Nothing brought Ted more joy than spending time with family and friends. His grandsons and daughters were his pride and joy. Ted loved Purdue athletics and was a long-time member of the John Purdue Club. He was an extremely generous man who was actively involved in various Plainfield community organizations. Over the years, his favorite activities were his involvement in youth sports and supporting local families in need. Golfing was a hobby Ted thoroughly enjoyed; however his happy place was fishing on a lake in Minnesota, catching walleyes. Ted’s charismatic personality, sense of humor, and positive outlook on life made him a loving husband, exceptional father and grandfather, and loyal friend to many.
Over the past fourteen months, Ted battled Glioblastoma Brain Cancer with courage and strength. He never gave up, and throughout the journey, he was always looking ahead. His positive attitude was inspiring and provided much comfort to his friends and family. Ted’s infectious laugh, wonderful smile, honesty, and generous heart will be missed by those who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Jackie; daughters, Meghan Louisa Coyle and Lyndsay Louise (Adam) Corya; grandsons, Anderson Reickel Corya, Elliott Thomas Coyra, and their soon to be baby brother; brother, Gene A. (Jan) Coyle, and sister-in-law, Connie (Jack) Jannett.
On Sunday, November 21, 2021, a visitation will be held at Plainfield United Methodist Church from 2-4 pm, followed by a Memorial service at 4 pm. DONNIE A. RIDEOUT
41, Brownsburg, passed away on November 8, 2021.
He was an Army Veteran who served for 10 years and 3 months. He served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, where he met his wife Amber. He was awarded the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, NATO Afghanistan Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Armed Services award.
He volunteered for the Brownsburg Junior Basketball League and Brownsburg Junior Football League and was known to all the kids as Coach D.
Donnie volunteered for the Indiana Blue Star Salute and as a dance prop dad for his daughters dance studio. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Family was the most important thing to him.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Amber Rideout; son Kingston “King” Rideout; daughter Scarlett “Letti” Rideout; father Don Rideout; mother Donna Rideout; sisters Laura Rideout and Alicia Rideout-Lahey.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday, Nove,ber 22 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 5 p.m., followed by Military Honors.

ALMA “JANE” DEATON
74, of Plainfield, passed away on November 11, 2021.
She was born on September 4, 1947 in Indianapolis to the late Victor and Dora Mc- Nabb.
Jane worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a dedicated homemaker. Jane enjoyed gambling, sewing and quilting in her free time. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family whenever she could.
Funeral services were Monday, November 15, 2021 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial followed in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Deaton; sons, Mark (Lora) and Larry Jr. (Leann) Deaton; daughters, Tracy (Wes) Livingston, Tricia (Jon) Poindexter and Kathy Furey; brother, Victor McNabb; sisters, Ruth Baskerville and Kathy Jaynes; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
SCOTT LAWRENCE ALLEN
53, Cloverdale, passed away on November 5, 2021.
He began his professional career as an Army field medic straight out of high school. Most recently he had begun a career as a realtor.
Those closest to him will always remember his mad air guitar skills and his love for music. He was a determined, hardworking family man. Being self-sufficient and having his own farm was a lifelong dream and he was passionate about seeking the truth in all things.
Survivors include his grandmother Sylvietta Ruth Allen; parents Larry Allen and Janis McKay; girlfriend Michelle McCleary; children Seannastashia VanHorn, Sterling Metcalfe-Allen, Sydney Allen, Madalyn McCleary, Caitryn Allen, Callie Allen, Teagan Allen; sister Lorie D’Andrea and four grandchildren.

SHERLIE RICHARDSON
73 of Brownsburg, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021.
She was born to Elbert and Telvis Huff in Hazard, Kentucky on Halloween with red hair, and that pretty much tells you most everything you need to know! Simply put, she was a spitfire!
Sherlie is survived by her three daughters, Jennifer (David) Limeberry, Dawn Limeberry and Angela Crockett; grandchildren, Jessica (Keith) Brown, Christina (Brandon) Hale, Kenneth Limeberry, Dustin (Kaelin) Limeberry, Kaytlyn (Dakota Ping) Limeberry, Summer (Andrew) Mitchell, Cheyenne (Kevin Lavoie) Crockett, Faith Crockett, Brooklynn Crockett and Blake Crockett; great-grandchildren, Micah, Annalee & Titus Mitchell, Kylie & Keegan Ping, Kinsley Brown, Brock Hale and Baby Boy Lavoie; and her sister, Verlie Witcher.

LAURA JANE (Hanson) MARTIN
Pittsboro, died on November 14, 2021
She was born November 21, 1943 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of the late James and Winnifred Hanson. A country girl at heart, her first love was horses. Laura was a graduate of Valparaiso University who put her career on hold to raise a family. She taught many years at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Valparaiso where she retired. An avid reader and people person who loved to travel, above all else, she enjoyed time with family.
Laura is survived by her husband, John, daughter Dawn Colley, son-in-law Dave Colley, grandson Owen Colley, and granddaughter Reese Colley, all of Brownsburg, son John of Chicago, Ill., sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Bill Stowers of Goshen, Ind., and brother Jim Hanson of Crown Point, Ind. Private services were held. Laura will be laid to rest in Northwest Indiana at a later date. Arrangements: Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
LINDA KAY HARBISON
74, of Plainfield passed away on November 14, 2021.
She was born November 13, 1947 in Danville, Ill. to the late Rollie and Mary Nixon Cushman. She married Jay Harbison on August 17, 1969, who just recently passed on July 30, 2021.
Linda was an active member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church where she played in the bell choir and participated in numerous charitable activities. She was an accomplished pianist and community volunteer donating time and resources to multiple elementary and preschools from central Indiana to St Louis. She had a deep love for children and touched many lives through her joy of teaching.
Among her many accomplishments she also built a successful office for an eye care practice from which she retired. She was a ready friend whose passion was to be helpful. She was lovingly devoted to her family who will miss her beyond measure.
Survivors include her sons, Matt Harbison (Andrea) and Dave Harbison (Thy), and a brother Ken Cushman (Karen). Also, four grandchildren; Reese, Gage, Gerald, and Jessa.

KENNETH RAY MOSIER,
60, of Danville, passed away on November 08, 2021.
He was born on June 30, 1961 in Calumet City, Illinois, and raised by his parents, Marjorie Lee (Wright) and John Bordonaro. He married Allison R. Miner on August 07, 2021 after 11 years of being together.
Ken was known as the “King of Mopar.” He was the former owner of Finer Details and has restored automobiles for his entire life. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity Gamma Theta Chapter, Indy Mopar Club and the SML Car Club, just to name a few. Ken had a huge heart that would help anyone in need. He was a social butterfly and loved his friends as his family. Ken lived for drag racing, loved all makes and models of cars but was the guru of Mopars. He was a huge cat lover even though he tried to deny it. He absolutely always told you he loved you when leaving or hanging up the phone no matter who you were.
Survivors include his wife, Allie Mosier of Danville; father, John Bordonaro of Missouri; two sisters, Vonette, Yvette and numerous nieces and nephews.
His mother, Margie Bordonaro, preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. THELMA LEE SALMON
former resident of Harrison and Floyd Counties, passed away on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, in Danville, Ind.
Thelma was born July 23, 1925, in Rosewood, Ind. to George and Minnie (Arnold) Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert H Salmon, Jr.; sons Allen Salmon and Timothy (Maggie) Salmon; and great-granddaughter Alexa Salmon.
She is survived by her son, Phillip (Charlene) Salmon; grandchildren, Allen Salmon, Jr, Matthew Salmon, Roman Salmon, Andrew Salmon, Christopher Salmon, and Leah Settles; great-grandchildren: Amber Salmon Mackey, Austin Salmon, Zachary Salmon, Abbygail Salmon, Charlee Salmon, Eleanor Salmon, Silas Salmon, and Bradley Salmon and one great-great-grandson Ezekiel Mackey.
Thelma and Robert were married 65 years until his death in 2012. They lived in several states, settling down in central Arizona for the last 15 years of their married life.
Thelma loved to garden, always lending a green thumb to flowers either outside or inside. Another love was flea markets. She especially loved visits, letters, cards, and calls from her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family.
She will be resting next to Robert in the New Albany National Cemetery.
Thelma was a member of the Apache Junction Seventh-day Adventist Church in Apache Junction, Arizona. Contributions can be made to the Christian Record Braille Foundation and Adventist World Radio.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. with service at 4 p.m.
BRUCE A. MAXWELL
69, of Danville, passed away at Life’s Journey Hospice in Avon, early Monday morning, November 15, 2021. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Danville Friends Church, with visitation there from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery at Plainfield, where Bruce will be laid to rest next to his parents, Albert “Wilson” and Lura L. (Hampton) Maxwell. The wearing of masks is recommended, but optional.
Bruce was born in Indianapolis on July 25, 1952. A birthright Quaker, he graduated from Olney Friends Boarding School in Barnesville, Ohio, with the class of 1970. He later received an associate degree in aircraft mechanics from Vincennes University in 1973. Bruce enjoyed his profession in aviation as an aircraft mechanic, as well as farming with his brother, David. He retired in 2019. Bruce was a member of Danville Friends Church.
Survivors include his brother, David A., his wife Carmen and their children, of Salem, Oregon, as well as several cousins and his “church family” at Danville Friends Church.

FREDERICK “FREDDY” MERCER HOPKINS IV
died on November 13, 2021 at home with his beloved family, after a hard-fought battle throughout 2021 against lung cancer.
Freddy was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 30, 1953, to Mary Louise Kull and Frederick Mercer Hopkins III. . Freddy was confirmed in 1968 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg, graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1971 and from Purdue University in 1975. While at Purdue, he pledged Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He chose not to be initiated – a maverick, he always charted his own course.
He was married on Oct. 20, 1979, to Sandy Sheets. Their son, Anthony James “AJ” was born in 1991. AJ married Morgan Cloncs in 2013. Freddy became grandfather to Faith (2014) and Chloe (2019).
During his work career, he partnered with friend David Wilson to form “Wilson-Hopkins Construction Company;” worked for Lumber One, Carter-Lee Lumber and then retired from Sanders Company. While he excelled at work, his family and home were the center of his universe.
Fred leaves behind his sisters Marcia Hopkins (Joseph) Schelling and Ellen Hopkins (Doug) Scott and seven nieces and nephews and their families, as well as several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and parentsin-law Cleo “Tid” and Lloyd Sheets. He loved his pet family throughout his life – dogs Buzzy, Rudy and Ollie.

ALMA MARY COOK
96, of Plainfield, passed away November 9, 2021 in her residence.
She was born on September 12, 1925 in Perry County, Indiana, to the late Edward and Emma (Huber) Naviaux. She married James Leon Cook on September 28, 1954 in the St. Susanna Catholic Church and he preceded her in death in 1987.
During the war, Alma worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” in California. She and her husband formerly owned several Shell Service Stations in Plainfield.
Alma was a member of St. Susanna Catholic Church in Plainfield and very involved with the Women’s Club and Young @ Heart. She enjoyed quilting, baking (especially pies) and sewing. Alma was also a member of several Euchre Clubs throughout the years.
Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Heymig (Bob), Karen Haak (Robert), both of Plainfield; siblings, Leonard Naviaux, Olivia Hagedorn, Irene Mosby; grandchildren, Jeremy Cook (Wendy), Joshua Heymig (Heather), Kianna Heymig, Abigail Fritcha (Joshua), Alex Haak (Kendyll); and 7 great-grandchildren.

ROBERT LEE JUDAY
89, of Plainfield passed away November 9, 2021. He was born September 14, 1932 in Bertrand Township, Michigan, the son of John and Florence (Ogren) Juday.
Mr. Juday was an associate with Lowes in Avon and Michigan City, a manager for Whirlpool Corporation, and the director of maintenance for Berkel Corporation. He was a member of Hazelwood Christian Church and the Lions Club of New Buffalo, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma Juday, and second wife, Patricia Juday.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Juday, children, Christine Lessien (Erik), Linda Mazac (Daniel), Robert Juday Jr., Dennis Juday (Denise), Stephen Juday, Misty Piper, Thomas Juday (Kristin), and Samantha Bragg; step children, Deborah Cornwell (Gary), Sandra Haun (Gary), and Ronald Rusher; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s disease research.

JEWELL F. “TINA” COFFEY
88, Martinsville, passed away at 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at her home.
Funeral services were Monday, November 15, 2021 at Abundant Life - The House of Mercy, Danvill, with Bishop Jerry VanLue and Pastor Jeremy VanLue officiating. Burial was at the Clayton Cemetery. Arrangements: Costin Funeral Chapel, Martinsville.
JEFFERY SCOTT DORMAN
65, of Plainfield, passed away on November 6, 2021, surrounded by his family.
He was born November 21, 1955 in South Bend, Ind., the son of Richard (deceased) and Norma Dorman. Jeff graduated from La Salle High School and completed his undergraduate degree at Indiana University of South Bend. He then moved to Indianapolis and graduated from IUPUI in 1983 with a joint J.D. and M.B.A. He also had his C.P.A.
On October 4, 1986, he married the love of his life Stephanie Dorman, who survives.
He is also survived by his son, Timothy (Danielle) Dorman, his daughter Lauren Dorman, his mother Norma Dorman, sisters Cheryl Dorman, Ann (Jim) Lai, nephews Stephen (Marcy) Lai, Andrew (Sarah) Lai, and grand-dogs Piper and Chumley.
Jeff was a member of Calvary Church in Plainfield.
Jeffery began his career with the Indiana Department of Revenue as a hearing officer. He was a Deputy Attorney General at the Indiana Attorney General’s Office. He then worked at the Indiana Statehouse in various capacities including Executive Director of the Indiana Agricultural Development Corporation and Executive Director of the Indiana Employment Development Commission. The highlight of his time working for the state was when he and Stephanie met at the Revenue Department. He then worked at Krieg DeVault Alexander & Capehart. In 1994, Jeff found his passion in operating his own law firm as Jeffery S. Dorman, Attorney at Law in Brownsburg.
Jeff enjoyed family vacations, college football, playing chess, and spending time outdoors. Jeff pursued his interest in politics by serving as a precinct committeeman.

FAYE L. GILLY
90 of Avon, passed away November 10, 2021.
She was born February 15, 1931 in Bedford, Indiana to the late William E. Stevens and E. Ruth (Bush) Stevens Noel. Faye was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children, Diana (Jack) Andrews, Robert E. (Debbie) Gilly, Jr., four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Gilly, Sr.

BRIAN KEITH FELTNER
64, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 8, 1957; a son of the late Charles Woodson Feltner and Rena Annette (Hapner) Feltner Myers.
He was a graduate of Brownsburg High School. On August 2, 2001, he was married to Marcia (Rood) Feltner; she passed away on July 1, 2002.
Brian was a masonry contractor for many years and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was a hard worker who enjoyed the great outdoors, taking long nature walks and collecting many artifacts along the way. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Brian leaves behind his daughter: Andrea Nicole Feltner of Brownsburg; brothers, Terry (Karen) Feltner of Fishers, Indiana, John (Diana) Feltner of Las Vegas; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Brock and sister, Nannetta Burdine.
Graveside Services took place Friday, November 12, 2021 at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana. Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

JUDITH R. BELILES
81,of Brownsburg, passed away on November 14, 2021.
She started her professional career as an X-ray Technician and retired after a long career from Blue Cross and Blue Shield as an Underwriter.
Judy was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church but most recently attended Connection Pointe Christian Church. She was an avid seamstress and a member of the American Sewing Guild. She valued time with friends and was a member the Tri-B’s Civic Club, two Red Hat Societies and faithfully attended Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping and above all cherished time with her family.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Beliles, daughter-in-law Lisa (Rich) Beliles and her parents Kenneth and Bertha Allen.
She is survived by her children, Joan (Rob) Eversole, Dave (Jenny) Beliles, and Rich (Amy) Beliles; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m - 1 p.m. with the service beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 22, Conkle Funeral Home Avon. Burial and graveside service will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
BERT THOMAS CARSON III
72, Spencer, formerly of Brownsburg, passed away November 11, 2021.
He received an Associate Degree in automotive sales from Northwood Institute in West Baden. Tom had a lifelong career in the automobile business at Carson Ford, Brownsburg, Carson Chrysler, Plainfield, Carson Motors Peugeot, Bradenton, Fla., and the last several years, owned and operated Carson Motors in Cloverdale.
Tom was a seasoned traveler, having visited Australia, Europe, China, India, Russia and more. As a sports enthusiast, he was fortunate enough to attend Super Bowls, NCAA Finals, World Series, Olympics, and NBA Finals. “Cat” to his friends was a concert goer. Tom had a great life!
He was preceded in death by his parents Wanda R and Bert T. Carson II, brothers Jim Carson and John Carson.
Survivors include Jeff Carson and Katie Cooley.

RANDALL ”RANDY” L. GOWAN
56, of Danville, passed away on November 12, 2021.
He graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1984 and went on to become a Journeyman Millwright for Local 1003 and 1076 for 32 years, retiring in 2015. Randy received the United States Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship. After retirement, he received his CDL license and drove for various farmers and excavation companies. He also enjoyed doing fabrication and welding jobs for several local businesses.
Randy loved the old Country Classics and the old Westerns. If you knew Randy, you knew he never did anything halfway. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He had a soft spot in his heart for all animals, especially his dogs, Lucy, Ricky, and Daryl Lee.
Randy married his high school sweetheart, Linda, on October 17, 1987. They resided in the Danville, Indiana area for most of their married life. Over the years, they took many family vacations together, went houseboating and four-wheeling, and made several trips to Florida.
Randy leaves behind his loving wife, Linda (Bramble) Gowan; his parents, Harry and Cheryl Gowan; his brother, Danny Gowan; his sister, Candy Thiel; and a huge extended familyand many, many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home in Pittsboro. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 19, at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society or Hendricks County 4-H.
