New Pastor at First Baptist Church of Plainfield

The First Baptist Church of Plainfield, Indiana, is pleased to welcome Rev. John Marshall as its new senior pastor. Pastor Marshall and wife, Luanne, will begin their ministry on Sunday, March 14. For the past 15 years Marshall has served as senior pastor of City Park Church, Casper, Wyoming. With over 30 years of ministry experience, John comes with a diverse background, having served as a hospital chaplain, youth pastor, and as a missionary to Brazil, South America, where he was actively involved in recruiting, training, and mobilizing core leadership for a church plant there. John and Luanne are excited about moving to Plainfield, getting acquainted with the Hendricks County area, and beginning their ministry here. The Marshalls have family in the Midwest and are grateful to be closer to them.

IS THE CHURCH OF YOUR CHOICE THE LORD’S CHOICE?

Do you ever consider your eternal destiny? According to God’s word we live on this earth but a short time. We celebrate the longevity of a soul that lives to be in the 80’s, 90’s or 100’s! That’s all relative to our way of thinking, but when we think about eternity it’s a period without end. That being so, this period on earth is impossible to compare! We make the choice of our eternal dwelling place while we are on this earth. Choose wisely! Questions? Visit a Church of Christ near you. Thanks again for reading. (Paid Advertisement)

We will continue to publish a streamlined Church Directory at no cost.

What we want to focus on is the news coming from our churches. Special services, new programs or projects. Stories from the Bible School teachers. News about rummage sales, dinners, and pitch-ins. Stories about church leaders, church members and their accomplishments.

We would like to be able to highlight all of the religous institutions in our county with a photo and short story contibuted my its members.
