One of Morake’s proudest moments was when the Joburg restaurant which he coowned was named in the Eat Out Top 100 Restaurants.

INTRODUCING F&B MANAGER, MONGEZI RADEBE

A constant learner, Radebe has a diploma as a chef and F&B Manager, a certificate in Economics and Management Science, as well as a soon-to-be-completed Marketing Management degree. As if that’s not enough, he also aims to complete a law degree and an MBA. This commitment, hard work and focus is what made him the right choice when it came to appointing a new Food and Beverage Manager for Sun International’s The Maslow.

The Maslow, Sandton recently announced the appointment of Executive Chef, Ofentse Morake and Food and Beverage Manager, Mongezi Radebe. With a passion for food, friends and family, as well as the determination to continue improving, reinventing and driving hospitality, these two newcomers are sure to bring some excitement into the Maslow space.

Meet Chef Ofentse Morake

For the 35-year-old Morake, food has always been linked to family and friends. After an internship at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida, he returned to South Africa as
