PREFABDEPARTMENT

Prefabrication is the practice of assembling components of a structure in a manufacturing site and transporting complete assemblies or sub-assemblies to the construction site where the structure is to be located and permanently installed.

Prefab can help to increase efficiency, decrease time frames, reduce cost, waste, and safety incidents

Prefab prides itself on its ability to train and prepare the revolving door of employees working to get into the ABC Apprenticeship program. Our main goal is to start new employees in Prefab so they may learn the ins and outs of the Electrical Trade within a controlled environment. We help them to become comfortable with the knowledge, tools, and culture while they go through the long chore of getting accepted into the program. In this latest round, nineteen individuals made it in. Out of those nineteen, fifteen were Helix employees. Out of those fifteen Helix employees, six were from the Prefab Department.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the six Prefab employees for their hard work and dedication and wish them the best of luck in their adventures in the field!
