ARTIST’S STATEMENT Much of my work examines and abstracts pertinent conflicts and questions that arise from social and political issues. Although what I create is initiated by an experience particular to myself, I do not consider my work to be a personal expression. I strive to encompass a broader experience by building upon my own until it becomes universally accessible. Melude, artist’s book composed of mono prints, linocut prints, and intaglio copper plate etching prints, 2016
