Meet Tom Jones and the Rock Choir! July 7th on Newton Green starting at 11am with the Bells Official Opening at 12 noon Tom is opening the Fayre at 12 noon and he may even sing a couple of his hit numbers. The Tom we have may not be the one you know but ‘our’ Tom has an alias of Dean. The Rock Choir are coming at 11.30am. They are brilliant and, if you haven’t seen them, you must come. After Tom, we have the Community Orchestra followed by Elindia’s Belly Dancers Troupe, Loopy News the magician and the Performance House. A bouncy castle is booked and all the usual table top games will be out including, by popular request, ‘Splat the Rat’. The tug-of-war between the Jolly Sailor and the Globe will round off the day. Refreshments, burgers, Pimms, cakes, ice creams, burgers, country market, books, bric-a-brac, tombola, handbags, L’Oreal products- all these and more. If you have a raffle prize, books, bric-a-brac, costume jewellery, old handbags or accessories, cakes, jams or chutney that you would like to give, please contact me. We have a stallholders meeting on Tuesday June 19th at 7pm in the Schoolroom so you could bring items then. We hope you will all come along and enjoy the day.
