WATEROUS FLOTO-PUMP This floating pump is so light that it can easily be carried by one person. The float assembly is a high density polyethylene shell filled with closed cell foam. The pump is self priming and operates in as little as six inches of water. Standard features include a bronze impeller, anodized aluminum casing, face type mechanical seal, built in intake screen, water resistant air cleaner and muffler. The engine is 8 hp, air cooled, one cylinder, two cycle with a 5 quart fuel tank. Other engine features include: recoil starter, pressure carburetor with integral fuel pump, solid state ignition. The Fyr Flote is a lightweight, centrifugal pump mounted on an unsinkable, high strength polyethylene float with dual carrying handles and a splash resistant collar. It is designed to work in as little as four inches of water. At 49 pounds, it is easy to transpor t and store. Pump features include: 2” non-threaded suction with screen, 1.5” NST Male discharge, aluminum alloy waterways, bronze impeller, vertical pump shaft, self adjusting shaft seal and an exclusive auto prime system. The gasoline engine is an 8 hp single cylinder, two cycle with forced air cooling, a solid state ignition and an in line fuel filter.
Ideal for drafting from ponds, streams or lakes and operates in only three inches of water. The engine and pump assembly easily detach from the float and the float assembly folds in half for compact storage in most truck compar tments.
