Other Choice products will be placed on the lower shelves within the machine without promotional elements encouraging the sale of these products. Products have to meet one of the classifications in the table below to be stocked in the vending machines. The ratio of ‘Better Choice’ to ‘Other Choice’ is required to be 60:40. (This can be revised upwards if desired to 80:20)

We provide a 7-day, efficient and reliable maintenance service
We create and promote service and excellence by maintaining functioning equipment and by serving a variety of attractively presented products in a reliable and convenient manner. We strive for excellence by developing employees and management through continued education and training and to customers by using appropriate technology to ensure accuracy, quality and successful transactions.
We understand that vending machines are often located in a busy public environment and that the hygiene of the machines is essential to our customers and clients. All merchandisers carry a full cleaning kit that includes cleaning fluids, a dust brush and cloths. On arrival at each site, the merchandiser is required to wipe down any dirt that may have accumulated over the period of time from the last visit. Before leaving your site our merchandiser will remove all packaging created from filling the machines as it is recycled back at our head office location.
All breakdowns can be reported directly to our customer service desk 7 days a week. There is a Lo Call 1850 phone number and email address displayed clearly on each machine. We monitor our machines through telemetry and we get notification of machine breakdowns in real time as they happen. This greatly increases our productivity and ability to respond quickly to breakdowns.
BDS Vending has a ‘no quibble’ refund policy. Each complaint is logged on our database by our customer service team and responded to in writing together with a cash refund if required within 3 days. A service technician is also dispatched to the machine to check over the fault and rectify the issue.
We believe that hygiene and a clean appearance play a vital role in the performance of the machines and protection of the products within. It is also a crucial part of revenue generation for the machines to be kept at their best at all times.

Accountability & Transparency All our vending sales information is processed through telemetry and remote handheld computers, which enables us to give 100% real-time accurate information on our vending machine sales throughout our footprint of equipment. It gives visibility and transparency to our clients on sales and commission reporting. Sales-by-product and cash are recorded and is reported to our clients monthly or on demand. This ensures accurate commission payments. The Sales & Marketing reports enable us to planogram the machine to the maximum potential, thus ensuring that all the best selling products are delivered to the consumer every time and maximum revenue is generated. We provide online login for our client to be able to view sales in real time if required.
Sales reports give the following information and are provided on a monthly basis by email. • The site name • The type of machine • The date and time the machine was merchandised • The unit and cash sales • The commission earned per fill • The total commission earned by machine • The total commission earned per site

Alternative Payment Systems The capability for making transactions via credit/debit cards and mobile phones is available. Note readers are fitted to all our high turnover machines and credit card capability is now in operation. This enables us to never miss a sale and we get to use whatever payment type people are carrying in their pocket.
