What was your perception of the fashion industry growing up and how has it changed?

I wasn't a massively fashion driven kid, so when i joined i didn't really know what I'd be doing so they pushed me down the editorial route which was very different to what i thought modeling was. It made me realise how vast modeling is and how you can really do what you want. My eyes really opened to the amount of different things within modeling you can do.

Was there anyone in the public eye you felt you could relate to?

Alton Mason. He's an american model and is a role model to me, I think he's just amazing and just wanna follow in his footsteps.

Biggest frustration in the industry?

getting multiple agencies to support me, I'm stuck between London and Manchester agencies because if I choose London I would have to leave Manchester. It's almost like a competition where London agencies are stealing models from manchester. .

One Genie wish?

I would expose the lies in the industry, everything is very hidden within the industry so you have to do your own research into what can go wrong in the industry. Especially for womens modeling, there's a big issue with sexual harassment. Also favoritism within modeling is really hard to combat with as brands stick to the same models again and again
