Jack Donaghy and Will McCamley are set to appear for the U23s tomorrow night.

The pair are currently recovering from long-term injuries picked up in training and will play for Gary Henry's side in a bid to gain match sharpness. McCamley has been out since September with a lower leg injury, while Donaghy was sidelined two months ago with a broken arm. The U23s will welcome Gosforth Bohemians on Wednesday at 6pm at The Green Energy Sports Ground with free entry. Henry's side weren't in action at the weekend, but played out a goalless draw away to West Moor & Jesmond last time out. Young centre-back Kian Devlin-Johnson reflected on the game with mixed emotions.

"I don't think we got out of first gear," he explained. "We had a few opportunities in the first half however we weren’t able to finish them and take the lead.

"I think we looked tired towards the end but we stuck together as a team and didn't let the opposition create many chances, so we were pleased in that sense."

The week before that, the U23s managed to claim an impressive 1-0 victory away to tomorrow's opponents Gosforth.

Robbie Gateshill scored the winner from the penalty spot on 82 minutes, while debutant keeper Jimmy Lone stayed strong to earn a clean sheet.
