GROUND FOR TODAY'S GAME.

It was important to win on Tuesday night away to Shildon. After losing on Saturday at Long Eaton, we needed to get back on track because that was our game in hand. It wasn't the best performance but it's three points by any means necessary. We got told off at half-time but the second half was a lot better from us. There will be games like that, especially with that kind of pitch, so we were over the moon to come away with the win. I'm playing and playing well - I wasn't too concerned about not scoring for a while.

Chances will come and I got one on Tuesday, so I was happy to put it away.

We spoke about getting down the sides of them and it was the only chance I got all game.

I took a touch ahead of myself and smashed it with my left foot across the keeper like you're told to do when you're youngerthankfully it went in. We need three points again today. Lincoln rolled us over at their place - we had a few injuries at the time and were going through a bad phase.

It'd be nice to see a big crowd and hopefully we can get that win.
