Late. Prof. C.M. Bahl

Late Prof. C. M. Bahl was one of the most accomplished and revered mentor of Rayat-Bahra Group. A renowned educationist who was always full of energy, he died of colon cancer in Chandigarh in 2011 leaving an indelible mark on the Group. His role in enhancing the education landscape of the country will be remembered for a long time to come. Strong, loveable, calm, optimistic, attentive and smiling, he worked with full enthusiasm, and influenced many lives with his ideas. His curiosity for knowledge and desire to make things better played a key role in helping him transform the education sector in the country. He once told S. Gurvinder

Singh Bahra - "The more you read, the more you practice and the more you ideate future, speaks volume about his keen desire to set new benchmarks in the education sector for others to follow. Not shy of venturing into territories other educationists avoid, he always strived to take education standards at Rayat-Bahra to new levels. He used to say - "They alone live who live for others", and he lived by it throughout his life. His life is an example of selfless service to the society in every sense of the word.
