How much of this is allocated to direct marketing spend?” Rather than asking how many employees are in the company, which you could have found out yourself, the above question implies you have taken time and effort to prepare for the interview. The interviewer will take this as a sure sign that you’re serious about the company, job and future career. Once in the interview, it’s important to relax. Imagine you’re having a conversation with a friend. Make sure you listen carefully to each question and before you respond to more difficult questions, think about your answers and how you want to express them – this will help you speak more confidently. Responsibilities: • Champion ICPAS strategic thinking initiatives. • Coordinate and participate in the technical activities including accounting, auditing, insolvency, taxation and corporate governance. • Monitor the development of standards nationally and internationally. • Conduct research in areas such as auditing, accounting, insolvency, corporate governance and taxation. • Prepare and review articles on technical matters for the Institute’s journal. • Update the Institute’s members on any recent development of technical issues. • Provide technical query service to members.

Responsibilities: • Champion ICPAS strategic thinking initiatives. • Oversee the administration, examination as well as accreditation of the Professional Examination. • Research and develop the Professional Examination qualifications and any new projects. • Assist in the development of the post-graduate programmes and registration of Intellectual Property rights. Requirements: • CPA Singapore or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in a public accounting firm. • Strong leadership in leading a team through coaching. • Meticulous and have initiative to improve work processes. • Good interpersonal skills, resourceful, and independent. • Strong learning ability, willing to multi-task, and take up challenges. • Prior working experience in private or public education sector is an advantage.

Requirements: • CPA Singapore or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in a public accounting firm. • Possess knowledge on technical matters relating to accounting, auditing, tax etc. • Good analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. • Meticulous, resourceful and innovative with positive work attitude. • Confident in dealing effectively with both internal and external parties.
