We love you God! We honor you God! To God be all the glory for the great things that God has done! God, you are worthy to be praised! God, we ask that you would forgive us of the sins we have committed by thought, word and deed. Please create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. We repent and we endure to lead a new life. We are not perfect, but we want to worship you in spirit and in truth. Thank you God for everything!
Thank you for our beloved Bishop and Missionary Supervisor! Thank you for their faithful service to God, their family, the church, the community, Zion, and to the North Eastern Episcopal District. Thank you for letting their work speak for them. Thank you for their labor and their many sacrifices. Thank you Jehovah Rapha for healing their bodies in the powerful name of Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit for never leaving or forsaking them. Thank you for giving them the peace of God that transcends all understanding.
Thank you Jehovah Jireh for meeting all of their needs and for giving them the desires of their hearts. Thank you that they will never have any lack. Thank you that no weapon formed against them will be able to prosper. Bishop and Mrs. Proctor will trust in the Lord with all of their hearts and lean not unto their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge God and God will direct their paths. They are the head and not the tail. They are above only and never beneath. They are the lenders and never the borrowers. They are walking in victory. They are more than conquerors. They are walking into retirement by faith and not by sight. God has not given them a spirit of fear. We thank God for giving them spirits of power, love and sound minds.
We thank God for blessing them with quantity and quality of life. We thank God for providing a house on the lake and a water vessel on the lake so they can enjoy retirement in peace with their family. They are covered under the blood of Jesus. We thank God for refreshing, reviving, and restoring Bishop and Mrs. Proctor. We thank God that they are leaving a legacy in the A.M.E. Zion Church. We speak over their lives, decreeing and declaring that their latter days shall be greater than their past! They will not worry about the next phase! They cast all of their cares on God because they know God cares for them!
Now unto Him who is able to keep Bishop and Mrs. Proctor from stumbling. And to present them faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen
Bishop Dennis Vernon Proctor Champion of Women’s Rights
you Bishop Proctor for giving me the opportunity to serve as the first woman Presiding Elder of the Camden District and the New Jersey Annual Conference of the A.M.E. Zion Church! Thank you for listening to GOD. I will never forget that GOD gave me the anointing, but Bishop and Mrs. Proctor gave me the appointment! You took a chance on me while I was sitting on the bench for an entire year with no appointment after serving as a Pastor for 18 years. Cancer could not take me out! GOD healed my body and restored my health. GOD used Bishop Proctor to restore my ministry.
Thank you for making several historic appointments and giving women an opportunity to lead in major ways. Thank you for appointing Presiding Elder Jacqueline King as the Presiding Elder of the Boston District, Pastor Melanie Miller as the Pastor of St. Paul and Pastor Robyn Anderson as the Pastor of Cross Street. Thank you for accepting my recommendations and appointing five first-time women pastors to serve on the Camden District: Rev. Candace Hills, Rev. Lauren Williams, Rev. Lakeisha Mobley, Rev. Catherine Solomon, and Rev. Danica Frink. All of these women are dynamic. You took a chance on them and me! Thank you for standing for equality and equity!
With Love and Appreciation,
The Presiding Elder Laticia Hill Godette
