Los propietarios de la zona se siguen negando

Hace unas semanas, los propietarios de locales en Paniagua y la EUC denunciaban a El Periódico de Sotogrande el hecho de que se quisiera instalar una hamburguesería ambulante en una zona verde situada junto al aparcamiento. Los intentos de la empresa cesaron, aunque el pasado 13 de junio, ya con todos los documentos en regla y con todos los permisos necesarios aprobados, la empresa Enjoy Hamburguer esperaba dejar instalado este vagón de comida rápida, esta vez en la zona de aparcamientos de la parte superior de Paniagua. La sorpresa del propietario al llegar con la hamburguesería para instalarla, fue encontrarse el aparcamiento ocupado de coches y elementos de obra, por lo que aunque se avisó a la Policía Local, no se pudo instalar el ne-
gocio. Javier Muñiz, en nombre de la franquicia Peggy Sue, responsable de la Hamburguesería, ha querido manifestar que cuentan con todos los permisos necesarios, y que aunque el lugar donde se vaya a instalar sea zona verde, el Ayuntamiento ha dado el visto bueno ya que es un negocio temporal, sólo para los meses de verano, en los que se pretende dar un nuevo servicio a la comunidad. Muñiz asegura que está muy sorprendido por la actitud de la EUC y los propietarios de impedir la instalación de este kiosco, así asegura que “si finalmente me veo obligado a renunciar a mi derecho de abrir este negocio en Sotogrande, evidentemente denunciaremos a quien tengamos que denunciar por daños y perjuicios”. mayor rechazo a la instalación de este negocio, el cual consideran que no representa los estándares de calidad de Sotogrande. Los propietarios aseguran que no tienen nada en contra de los responsables de la hamburguesería, pero que de permitirse que se instale este negocio se entrará en competencia desleal ya que “ellos no pagan local, ni comunidad pero harían uso de nuestros servicios y además nos quitarían zonas de aparcamientos”, indica Miguel Preysler. Además, se asegura que “en el caso de que se instale este negocio finalmente, se creará un precedente que no interesa a la urbanización y que poco a poco Sotogrande podría convertirse en un lugar lleno de casetas de feria”.

Javier Muñiz, on behalf of the franchise Peggy Sue, which is responsible for the burger bar, wishes to make it clear that they have all the necessary permits, and although the place where the business is going to be set up is a green area, the municipal council has given them the go-ahead because it is a temporary business, only for the summer months, aimed at providing a new service to the com-
munity. Muñiz stated that he is very surprised at the attitude of the EUC and the owners in preventing them from setting up this kiosk, asserting that “if I am ultimately forced give up my right to open this business in Sotogrande, obviously we will make a complaint against whoever we need to and sue for damages”. For their part, the Paniagua owners express their complete opposition to setting up this business, which they believe does not represent Sotogrande’s quality standards. The owners say that they have nothing against those responsible for the burger bar, but that setting up this business will give rise to unfair competition, because “they do not pay for premises, nor community fees, but they will use our services and also take up parking spaces”, Miguel Preysler indicated. In addition, he argued that “in the event that this business is ultimately set up, a precedent that is not in the resort’s interest will be created and gradually Sotogrande could become a place full of fairground stalls”.
