Innin Buyl Fue en el verano previo a comenzar mi curso M4 en SIS, disfrutando como espectador un partido de polo, cuando le comenté a mi padre el interés en iniciarme en este deporte. He montado a caballo desde siempre, pero nunca un caballo de polo por lo que fue algo nuevo para mí. Un viernes al salir del colegio mi padre me llevó a un partido de polo y comencé a ayudar a preparar los caballos en los palenques, a montarlos y no pasó mucho tiempo que ya estaba taqueando. Comencé en la escuela de polo con Santiago y Jackie, en las canchas de Río de Santa María Polo Club y jugando prácticas, convirtiéndose en una rutina para mí ir al polo a ayudar a organizar los caballos para los partidos, taquear y jugar cuando podía. Me enamoré de este deporte y ahora que estoy estudiando en la Universidad en Madrid con otros fanáticos del polo, estamos organizando nuestro propio equipo de polo. Queremos darle la oportunidad a otros de conocer el polo y practicarlo, como lo hizo el colegio en mis años de alumna.
It was in the summer going from M3 to M4 when I was watching a match and I told my dad I would love to play polo. I had been riding since forever, but never a polo pony, so it was pretty new to me. One Friday after school my dad took me to a match and I started helping out and now and then I got to ride, until it became a routine and I was riding everyday but not yet stick and balling. Then the school, along with (Jacky – escribelo como lo escribe ella porfa!) and Santi organized lessons twice a week at the Rio fields, which I joined, and I also got the chance to play practices which was an incredible experience. I fell in love with the sport, and this hasn’t changed, as currently I’m attending IE university where other polo fanatics and I are getting together our own Uni team. We want to give others the chance to try the sport, just like SIS did for me years back!
