Madinat Jumeirah.

“We are recognised as the company that offers high quality brands with competitive prices and professional services, explains Wajih Nakkash. “Our retail market is extensive and we offer entire exterior furnishing and design for a space that is used almost year-round in this region. We represent the exclusivity of distinguished outdoor brands, such as Dedon, Manutti, Raush just to name a few, and our products cater to the whole range of the hospitality market, he adds. Earlier in 2013, Nakkash launched three new collections polyurethane. It is suitable for climates from Africa to Scandinavia and is zero maintenance. The fabric can be easily cleaned and the frames washed down, making it perfect for the outdoor hospitality desert environment. The second collection is inspired by Latin American birds and the movement can be controlled to rock the chair. It is easily stacked and can be used on sand and hard surfaces. Collection number three is a NAKKASH branded outdoor furniture line, developed in collaboration with the French studio, Maiori Studio. The line is high quality and comfortable, sleek and affordable; tailored to contract projects. These and the rest of the NAKKASH collection will be housed across an additional showroom, specifically for outdoor furniture, that is due to open 2013 end.

22

“Our design approach is that whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We engage our client and create a personal relationship in order to offer more than just furniture, we offer an innovative and refined lifestyle, Nakkash continues. Keeping an eye on the emerging and major trend for personalisation in service, Nakkash says it is a factor that will greatly influence the future of the luxury hotel industry. On the deign side of the industry, he continues to say that innovations in sustainability and the use and application of new and non-traditional materials will also bear influence.

www.nakkashgallery.com Far from saying everything from China is of substandard quality , he explains: “There is an excess of imitations of our high end products coming mostly from China that is seriously reducing the standard of quality and design for outdoor furniture. To overcome this challenge we higher the standard and stick to what we believe in, which is to provide unparalleled design and quality. And of the secret to that quality, he continues: “Our key trademark touches is that we are able to blend traditional classic design with the contemporary chic in a very elegant way. Moreover, as mentioned previously, we sell more than just furniture, we are a lifestyle brand. Sometimes it can be very hard to challenge the priceled logic from hoteliers and we have lost work in the past because hotels aren’t willing to invest. But they buy the imitation products, have difficulties keeping them looking new and well maintained, and then have to reinvest and come back to us.”
