parts of the park and the main walking routes contains several flights of steps , some natural ones carved into rock and some man made wooden ones . much more than a stroll in the woods , this 2-3 hour adventure will awe anyone who succeeds in exploring its crags and crevices !

laser clay pigeon shooting is becoming one of the most popular activities for corporate events at hawkstone hall & gardens . each person has a modified , real shotgun that fires an infrared beam .

you shoot at modified clays launched from a clay launcher outdoors or at the targets as they light up indoors .

when the shotgun trigger is pulled , the digital scoreboard generates the shotgun sound effect , and if the clay or target is hit , the sound of a breaking clay is produced . 100% authentic , except no kick - back , it is safe , and fun .

the three courses are situated in 400 acres of undulating parkland surrounded the ruins of a medieval castle with the cliffs of the world - famous 18 th century follies providing a spectacular backdrop .

the hawkstone gold course , the championship course & the short course to which is set in an english heritage grade 1 landscape .

this course will really test your abilities . the golf centre has a retail shop , changing rooms and the terrace bar & restaurant , open everyday with a wide menu choice and panoramic views of both courses .

we can offer you a personal and bespoke bird of prey experience at hawkstone hall & gardens set in the heart of the shropshire countryside .

we offer owl experiences , hawk walks , talks and 1/2 day falconry experiences on site .

centrally located in the west midlands we are convenient for regional and national businesses : london is 2.5 hours by train , manchester and birmingam J ust 90 and 60 minutes respectively . an itinerary can be created to meet your specific and bespoke needs . car

the hall is entered via hawkstone lodge through an electric gate off of the main road in the centre of weston - underredcastle . follow yellow road signs for hawkstone hall can be found on most junctions . by train

shrewsbury train station is situated in the centre of shrewsbury and is approximately 12-20 minute drive . taxis are available from outside the station . there is a direct train route from london to s hrewsbury , a taxi is needed for the remaining 12 miles . by helicopter

b irmingham and manchester airports are both approximately 1 hours drive . helipad areas are available for landing at the hall by prior agreement .
