Project: Land Border Crossings Gateway Prototype - AECOM

Goal:

To provide an innovative, welcoming and cost efficient landmark gateway that states the boundaries of our Land Border Crossings (LBC)

Natural Stone can be used as a sub- material based on the geographical location of the LBC

• Rammed Earth for the Eastern borders

• Limestone for the Northern borders

• Dark Stone for the Southern borders

The concept’s philosophy emerges from the idea that passing through a gate does not necessarily require an Over the Road structure.

In order to break the current monotony of the existing gates and allow for an innovative landmark, the gate can be composed of several dismantled elements.
