wasn’t fake it was happy and full of joy though toothless from drinking too much coffee, sugared. 

 then, you still cried when it hurt. in big gulps and sobs swallow the sky you weren’t afraid to show your fear. 
 but you learned better.

now you are sullen and you don’t look me in the eyes. i know i can’t change the situation but i try to reach out and i don’t really know how because 
 you aren’t really interested anymore. 


 and i’m leaving soon. i won’t see you again for a lot longer and by the next time i come you’ll be a teenager and 
 lord knows what comes next. 

 i don’t believe youth is wasted on the young. at least why blame them for wasting when we have wasted them first.
