Bracket 2 winner--Kaika DePonte (Keaau) in a roadster (10.90 sec/133 mph). Runner up--Jeff Hall (Kamuela) in a nova (18.00 sec/34 mph--red lighted). Bracket 3 winner--Sheldon Aviento (Hilo) in a mustang (14.43 sec/78 mph). Runner up--David Fulkerson (Mt View) in a camaro (22.6 sec/76 mph--red lighted). Mototcycle Bracket winner--Teddy Davis (Mililani) on a suzuki (8.96 sec/166 mph). Runner up--Bricen Baruela (Hilo) on a yamaha (10.09 sec/132 mph). Junior Dragster Bracket winner Pmai Rezentes (Hilo) (9.41 sec/66 mph--Pomai wins on a hole shot). Runner up--Kaike DePonte (Keaau (8.83 sec/74 mph). Chase Kokualani of Waipahu set a state record for 8-18 year old junior dragsters with a time of 7.06 secs, eclipsing the old state record of 7.07 seconds. Fastest car on Sunday: “Pyro” Pete Comandini (Waikoloa) in a jet car (7.39 sec/218 mph). The Pro-Stock Challenge III has been postponed to either the June 26/27 or the July 24/25 Points meet.
