THE AH CHEW GOO AWARD
The Ah Chew Goo Award was conceived in 1999 by an anonymous donor and is presented at the end of each season during the annual Rainbow Wahine Basketball Banquet. The award is given to the player who attains basketball excellence through dedication, determination and perseverance. It is named after the former UH men’s basketball coach of the 1950s and father of former Rainbow Wahine basketball skipper, Vince Goo.
