In December of 2014, Bond Clinic made the important decision to expand our “extended hours clinic” to be a full Urgent Care. The largest changes included an increase of our hours and treating those who were not established Bond Clinic patients. This lined up with our overall goal to provide quality medical care, close to home, with reduced cost and greater access to our community. Urgent Care is an important layer to medical care and can be used in many situations that are not emergency related. At Bond Clinic, we saw that many patients needed the flexibility that Urgent Care offered and felt it was important to add this service backed by the reputation of the Bond Clinic name. In January of 2018, we relocated to our First Street Campus in order to increase our hours to 8am - 8pm daily, expand our space and add more providers to the team. “People have embraced us and it has confirmed that our decision to grow Bond Clinic Urgent Care has met a need,” said Dr. Iakovidis, Bond Clinic CEO/President of the Board.
