It is arguably the most authentic area of Miami Beach and where many of the locals live. 2/ Your favorite places to hangout? The Bandshell on 73rd and Collins Avenue, where live concerts take place and the community comes together. 3/ The best spot to dine? Silverlake Bistro is one of the newest and best. It’s a relaxed environment where you feel at home and can easily be a go-to once a week.
5/ Best nautical routes in the area? Make a stop for chicken wings at Shucker’s then coast alongside the Bayfront homes on Biscayne Point, Normandy Island, and Stillwater. 6/ North Beach highights? Our area is all about culture and authenticity. The whole stretch from 67th to 75th and Collins Avenue provides a multicultural variety of restaurants and cafés.

8/ Speaking of the future... There’s a lot in the works in addition to Ocean Terrace. Keeping the “mom and pop” feel is key. Chef-driven restaurants, proper coffee shops, and low-key mixology bars would naturally complement the area.

7/ On local architecture... As a kid, I wanted to own a hotel on Ocean Terrace. It’s so unique and enchanting… a two block stretch of what once was a vibrant MiMo district lined with cafés and live music. The good news is that a revival is underway!

4/ How about a great spot for drinks? Norman’s is great and a North Beach staple. If you’re open to venturing a few minutes west, The Anderson makes amazing cocktails.
