Getting Serious. After two days of intense teambulding, heated discussions and high-speed resolution-writing, two days of meeting new people, partying it up and hopping over one's shadow, we have reached the final event and highlight of this session: the General Assembly. Delegates have worked hard and slept little to prepare themselves for this final debate. Defending their resolutions and thinking critically about current issues of the EU, the delegates, for most of who it was the first EYP session, made this General Assembly a memorable event.To spice up the GA, the chairs sent the delis on a bearhunt. Debates turned around fundamental questions like women's rights and the liberties of prisoners and controversial topics like sexual education. Jury, as well as the young potential members of parliament contributed to a professional atmosphere throughout the debates. The pressteam hopes that all delegates have gained a lot throughout these three days, personnally, as well professionally and that they have made a lot of new friends. We would like to gratulate all of you for their performance, wish you good luck for their future and hope to see you soon at another EYP-event!

Good-bye Poetry Au revoir, déléguée, notre quète est finie Tu retournes chez toi, plus mature, rajeunie. Et Gandalf s’en va, plus de voix, dos cassé Somnolant, rabougri, démoli, harassé. Ciao! Cher délégué, je t’ai vu discuter Des tourments de l’UE. Vous avez occulté Tous les stéréotypes, toutes les idées fixes! Vous avez débattu pour gagner à tout prix! Puis, avec un inébranlable esprit d’équipe Vous avez tous contribué à la rédaction du gossip! La session plénière vous a mis à l’épreuve De trouver des idées pour une Europe neuve. Vous avez débattu comme au vrai Parlement De façon structurée, sans accroc, calmement. Passons. J’espère, comme les orgas et les chairs Que vous avez passé trois excellentes journées. Qui resteront dans les mémoires Goodbye, tschüss, ciao, au revoir!

Welcome to P.E.D. The Session is over... this is it, and you're going back home. You feel some kind of emptiness, something is missing. You start remembering the good moments, you're checking the photos and videos on internet. You've met new friends. You regret the opportunity you had to hit enough the journo who quoted your says. You wish the Session never ended. That's the bitter-sweet taste of P.E.D. P.E.D., 3 letters referring to Post-EYP-Depression. It's not a disease, just the roll back effect of an intense weekend. I'd say: dont' worry, be happy! Efficient remedies made by EYP Labs can prevent P.E.D. : contact your new friends, join EYP, create a club in your highschool, organise a session and more important: check the next EYP events 'cause we're looking forward to seeing you again!!!
