They say that it is better to have loved and lost, than not to have loved at all. Will this sentiments ring true in the hauntingly beautiful tale of Giselle? The breath-taking yet heart-wrenching tale of romance and betrayal, Giselle is a ballet in two acts, featuring choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot, and staging with additional choreography by Janek Schergen and set to a memorable score by Adophe Adam. SDT first performed Giselle in 1999, and it remains to be one of the longest-standing and well-loved classics in the company’s history.
