What does the community say? A cross section of community groups and individuals (both library users and nonusers) was engaged with in late 2019 to determine areas where library services are not currently delivering according to community expectations, as well as hear their ideas about their libraries of the future. Over 1500 individuals were engaged with using a variety of assessment methods from intercept surveys to selfcompletion consultation and focus groups. This means that some confidence can be placed on the views expressed.
