Internet
Bali internet can be a little unreliable and temporary losses of connection can sometimes occur. You may also find the data to be slower during lunchtime and early evenings.
That said we have had several “digital nomads” come and stay and they have happily continued working on their businesses without any interruption.

Please be patient if the wifi is down – often the cause is due to the weather or the local provider and is outside our control We always do our best to fix the problem as soon as possible
Phones
We recommend having a phone during your stay
You have some options:
1 Use your own phone: Set up international cell roaming on your phone, but make sure your data roaming is switched off as that’s fiercely expensive
2 If you have an unlocked cell phone: Buy an Indonesian SIM card You can use that SIM for both calls and data - 3G and 4G are widely accessible around Ubud and Telkomsel Simpati is recommended There is a mobile phone stand at Bintang supermarket and, indeed, on virtually any main road, at which the staff will help you install a SIM and charge it with pulsa (credit)
Making a Phone Call from an International Phone
