Bejun Mehta’s Down by the Salley Gardens on NPR
Omar Sosa’s Calma nominated for a Best Instrumental Latin GRAMMY®
“Gaga, move over — and you, too, Annie Lennox, Grace Jones and David Bowie... It’s a beautiful recording full of tender and poignant songs… And, as exciting as it is to hear Mehta pull off those endless strings of fiercely powered showpieces, the countertenor does soft and wistful in equally beautiful fashion.”
“One of the most beautiful piano recordings of the year. Quiet, sparse and meditative. Calma should be heard start to finish, as a complete work.” —DOWNBEAT EDITOR’S PICK
