Floral Design Contemporary Floral Design NEW Introduction to Craft Brewing Technician This course introduces students to producing craft brewed beverages on brewing equipment. Students apply the principles of sanitation and safety, fermentation, mathematics, technology, scheduling, laboratory testing, evaluation/flavor analysis, packaging, and storage while producing batches of beer. Recording of brewing calculations, controls, and taxation requirements are also performed for the operation and governmental regulations. Students will also visit local breweries for tour and tasting. Business entrepreneurship is discussed. In-person instruction.

It is the last course of the core classes required for the certification program. There is a prerequisite of Introduction to Floral Design and Advanced Floral Design. Sympathy Floral Design for Floral Certification u This class is designed to introduce students to the mechanics of sympathy floral design. Students will design and create four basic arrangements: a dish garden, a basket design, a spray easel and a saddle design. Students will also be introduced to the many aspects of funeral orders and delivery procedures.
