Do you have a pile full of data and are not sure what to do with it next? Does the “signal” in your data look like the “noise”? Do you need to convert data into useful information for decision makers? If the answer any of these questions is yes, then this course maybe for you. The purpose of these sessions is to look at what the data is telling us. Topics include measures of precision and accuracy, illustrating data with charts and tables, discrete and continuous frequency distributions, testing hypotheses to some level of statistical significance, and optimization techniques. In addition to analysis theory, one benefit of the course is a solid foundation in using Excel for day- today analysis of data. This is an instructor lead online class. Sessions will be held at the days and times listed.

PMI-Agile Cert Practitioner (PMI-ACP®)

This course will prepare the student to gather and do preliminary analytics on data sampled from a larger data set. The student will review the statistical elements to analyze data, the “rules” behind determining if the data is valid, and finally using the knowledge gained from the course to analyze real-world data from probably the largest data repositories in the United States. The student is not required to know statistics or math, since the course is not statistics focused as much as it is understanding the logic behind data gathering and analysis. CRN: FRI Sessions: 2
