Push your creative boundaries and discover new ways of making and creating images. Leave behind the realistic properties of the camera in favor of an impressionistic sensibility. Start the day on location learning to create impressionistic images using a technique dubbed “in the round,” layering multiple photos and using opacity blending in Photoshop to create the desired effect. Move to the classroom session to evaluate your images and explore additional techniques using Photoshop. Leave with the knowledge to begin experimenting and creating abstract and impressionistic images of your own. Bring your camera and a laptop if you have one.
Gather with fellow photographers to share work and ideas in the PhotoCentral Sunday Photo Group. This free event is a chance to share your photographs, experiences and build community with fellow photographers.
