So many Things Happening Near You this Summer with HARD ! you may notice some really great things happening across our Park District. Many park planning, renovation and improvement projects are underway! This summer will feature the re-opening of the San Lorenzo Community Park! This major renovation features a re-designed pond, new picnic sites, playgrounds, softball fields and vehicle parking and circulation. Additionally, the Board of Directors will be working to prioritize the first phase of Measure F1 Park Bond projects. All bond funded projects will improve, enhance and renovate parks, fields and recreation facilities through-out the entire Park District. Inside this summer brochure you will find many opportunities for all ages to learn, engage, explore and grow! This summer we have redesigned our HARD summer camps “Recreation Innovation” to include new intentional programming that is geared toward the inclusion of health, science, engineering and FuN! we hope you find this new camp program format and schedule convenient and a value! For Teens we have designed “Star Leadership” to engage our Teens in positive, community based summer leadership training! we are looking forward to a summer of fun and urge you to continue to get out and enjoy all our District has to offer. In this guide is a “pull out” map that provides a view of many of our parks and facilities! you will find that we offer parks and facilities near you! we hope you get out and visit a local park!
