Hannah Jackson

BA (Hons) Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design graduate from Leeds Arts University. My personal practice comes from a love of stylised drawing, something of which is apparent in my bold and colourful designs. I have a passion for hand processes, focusing on screen printing. I draw inspiration from a wide variety of sources, however my main inspiration comes from my surroundings and my own personal travels around the world. As a designer, I use a combination of hand drawing and Photoshop to create my designs, which have a stylised, graphic feel to them. All my designs stem from a range of line drawings, textures and mark making, which are then used to create repeat patterns in Photoshop and are eventually screen printed by hand.
