COMPANY OVERVIEW & HISTORY Specialising in heavy duty lathes, Hankook Machine Tools was established in 1969 at the time of the initial era in the development of the Korean machine tools industry. Hankook has been at the heart of Korean machine tool development with large and heavy duty equipment based on its own in house technology in pursuit of the "Challenge & Creation" company slogan for a period of 50 years. Located at the Korean National Industry Complex at Changwon which embraces the mecca for the Machine Tool industry our headquarters, manufacturing workshops and R&D center are being expanded by the latest facilities and systems which will allow Hankook Machine Tools to fulfil all our customer's needs.

CNC Roll Lathe We are the only manufacturers in Korea of roll lathes with our R-series having from 10 tons to 100 tons capacities. Offering turning capacities for up to 6 meters long rolls for plate and section rolling mills we have delivered roll lathes to POSCO, Dongkuk Steel and Hyundai Steel. Our technology offers a level of performance and reliability much appreciated by our customers in these tough manufacturing environments.
