FRESH FACE KYLEN ABARCA, leasing agent

We would like to introduce you to Kylen (pronounced Kay-Lynn) Abarca. She is New Kent’s Leasing and Marketing Professional.

Kylen was born in Honolulu, HI and moved to Pennsylvania when she was 5 years old.

Kylen comes to New Kent with a few years’ experience in the property management field, and starting this Fall she will be working towards obtaining her NALP certification (National Apartment Leasing Professional). When she is not working at New Kent, Kylen enjoys training at the gym. She will be competing in her first body building competition this Fall. Kylen is happy to help you with any questions or feedback you have as a resident! Welcome to New Kent Kylen!

PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST! Think you have the best pumpkin carving skills?

We want to see what you’ve got! In honor of the Fall season and everything pumpkin, we are looking for your most creative jack-o-lanterns. Send us a picture or tag your photos on social media with the hashtag #NewKentPumpkins to enter our contest for a $50 Visa gift card. The photos will be featured on the New Kent Facebook and other social media sites and a winner will be chosen in November.

Starting August 3rd through October 29th 2016, Nightscape returns to Longwood Gardens.

Nightscape is a light and sound experience hosted by Longwood Gardens after dark. The gardens are transformed by light, movement, color and original music- a definite can’t miss experience!

The event also features a Victory beer garden and live music from a rotating roster of local bands.

Sport Court

Our community now features a year-round grilling station with pavilion seating, a fire pit, and a multi-purpose sport court. The grilling station features a gas grill, food prep counter, and bar seating. Perfect for Summer bar-be-ques with your neighbors!

Please remember, personal grills of any kind (with the exception of electric grills) are prohibited on your patios/balconies per township codes. Just across from the pavilion is the new fire pit. Invite your friends over for a relaxing night by the fire. To use the fire pit, set the timer to your desired length of use and enjoy. The fire will shut off automatically when the timer runs out. Do not press the emergency stop unless there is a true emergency. Adjacent to the fire pit is the new Sport Court, which features basketball, volleyball, tennis, and paddle ball!

Please take care when using the equipment – if you need assistance with operating the net, please ask the leasing office! We hope that you will take advantage of these new amenities! All areas are used on a first come, first serve basis.
