Quickslide supports Strata in a sustainable partnership
120 new homes in Nottingham to benefit from Quickslide’s partnership with Strata Homes.

Implementing sustainability and encouraging a positive environmental impact are very much expected outcomes in today’s world. Whatever the topic, the ambition to create a long lasting, planet saving solution is usually embedded within the earliest decisions.
With this ethos in mind, leading window and door manufacturer Quickslide has again partnered with Doncaster based home builder Strata; this time to adorn 120 new Nottingham homes with stunning PVCu casement windows and French doors. The relationship builds on a journey which began in July 2021 and compliments the industry’s joint commitment to builds meeting the demand for eco-friendly products whilst still embracing an overarching passion for design and detail.
Contemporary design
Strata is a family owned business operating across Yorkshire and the Midlands. Founded in 1919, they have over 100 years’ experience designing and building quality, contemporary new homes.
They are a unique brand synonymous with contemporary design, innovative marketing and exemplary levels of customer service. From the house type range, the web-driven sales process, to the show home experience and personalisation options coupled with an absolute adherence to quality: they are truly focused on exceeding customer expectation.
Supplying a total of 850 products to a selection of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, Quickslide were sought out by Strata for their value for money, company ethos and reputable levels of service.
Lee Wilson, Product and Specification Manager at Strata commented: “We understand the impact a home has on health, wellbeing and families. Our floorplans are designed to be flexible, giving space to grow, and adapting to the

changing needs of the people who live, work and connect there. We carefully consider each home’s design, including the window size and positioning to optimise the flow of natural light throughout the living spaces.
“We have been working with Quickslide for almost a year and these products have contributed to our design and placed natural light at the centre of the new Embrace site in Nottingham.”
Lee continued: “The decision to select a grey external woodgrain ensured that the frames of both windows and doors offered an understated elegance and allowed the contemporary brickwork to do the talking. The internal finish is a crisp white, creating a clean, blank canvas for our customers that will complement their own personal interior style.”
Touch of class
Quickslide’s Sales and Marketing Director Tom Swallow said: “The importance of the Strata ethos was clear from the beginning; we wanted to make sure that the products we supplied fitted seamlessly with the company’s mission to provide stunning homes which inspire people to live healthy lives filled with a sense of positive wellbeing. The beautifully sculptured Deceuninck 2800 casements offer a traditional feel that sits perfectly within contemporary style and the decision to use anthracite grey woodgrain opposed to white adds a touch of class deserved by these premium homes.”
Quickslide are keen to further demonstrate their commitment to the environment by offering argon gas filled insulated glass units and triple glazing options.
