Making their move into the U.S. market, the Swedish-founded Polestar is an independent electric performance car brand originally by Volvo Cars and Geely Holding that enjoys both the specific technological and engineering synergies with Volvo Cars while gaining their significant economies of scale as a result. Who could argue that as a downfall?
