Annual Foundation Appeal
Annual Foundation Appeal
Fundraising for the Annual Foundation Appeal has traditionally been borne out of our long-standing connections with the City. This remains a vital part of our Foundation income, with the Appeal being one of the longest running in the country.

This year (2016/17), the Appeal has been headed by its first female President, Angela Knight CBE, and we are pleased to report that it is looking to raise around £160,000. However, we are delighted that there have been some new income streams into the Appeal, not least of all the Cazenove Bursary Fund, subscribed to by the partners of Cazenove, supporting a Foundationer in perpetuity.
Also, we have been extremely grateful to the ORs, parents and members of the wider Reed’s community who have supported the Appeal directly or taken part in either the London Marathon or the Ride-London Surrey 100 for the Foundation. The phenomenal efforts of our runners and cyclists alone have raised over £20,000 in the last two years, which is attributed to the Annual Appeal and goes directly to helping educate our Foundation pupils.
Some of the ORs included in this fundraising roll-call of thanks are:
Nic Yellowlees (Capel 1975) Ryan Nesbitt (Capel 1990) Jorrit Schrauwers (Capel 1997) Tim Watney (Capel 1992) Ed Whiffin (Capel 2005) Robert Dunn (Blathwayt 1974) Richard Johnson (Mullens 1975) Alex Bull (Mullens 2007) Dan Murray (Blathwayt 1992)
