Four-year standout performer as an outside hitter and libero at Tomball High School • Coached by Cheryl Wallace • Four-time first-team all-district honoree • Paced THS in digs in four consecutive seasons • Registered 350 kills, 525 digs, 38 aces and 21 blocks as a senior in 2011 • Named to the 2011 Greater Houston Area All-Star Team • Finished with a career-high 351 kills and 563 digs as a junior and a career-best 587 digs as a sophomore in 2009 • Tabbed as the 2008 district newcomer of the year • Played club volleyball six years with the Texas Tornadoes and Texas Pride coached by Jeff Ham • Earned academic all-state honors in 2011 and first-team academic all-district honors four times • December high school graduate who began her studies at MSU in January.

Born Roxanne Estelle McVey on March 23, 1994 in Houston, Texas • Daughter of Jana and Glenn McVey of Magnolia, Texas • Parents are Texas A&M grads and brother West is enrolled at Texas A&M • Majoring in finance.
