I learnt a lot of life lessons at Haileybury. Having such an amazing campus and facilities was incredible but the big thing for me was Peter Davis, Director of Music at the time, undoubtedly the best teacher a pupil could wish for at secondary school. When you have the support and drive from your teachers for you to thrive as much as possible, you can’t really ask for more.

The bursary was the absolute game changer in my life. I think supporting bursary funding is crucial, for kids who may not come from the best of backgrounds, but have a talent or a certain gift. This could give them the opportunity they deserve.
