During the signing on the contract, Fung expressed her appreciation to the telecoms giant for coming on board in a significant way and also for the beginning of a fruitful relationship. n another week’s time, the Guyana National Stadium is expected to be filled to capacity as Bollywood singing legend Kumar Sanu performs. Tickets are out at several locations countrywide and the buzz has been spreading. The singing legend is expected to arrive in Guyana at least a day before the concert that is billed for September 25. The second show is set for the Albion Community Centre ground the following day. Lovers of Bollywood Film music are urged to get their tickets at the earliest to avoid the rush. The Bollywood Playback singer will be accompanied by Rachna Chopra who is known for her melodious voice. Both of the international artistes will be backed by the Shakti Strings Orchestra and it will be the first time that a Guyanese band will accompany two renowned singers. There will be other local

performers including the founder of Shakti String, Cecelia Samaroo and the versatile Prince JP and Pooran Seeraj, among others. This is the first time also that the Shakti Stings Orchestra will be doing an all Bollywood show. Nevertheless, those who plan to be a part of the event will be given a treat like never before. Two years ago, the singing sensation performed at “Music of the World” and left patrons blown away. Similarly, come September 25 and 26, the legend will take you back to the golden days with his hits of yesteryear. He will also pop several of the modern hits that are known to all. Be prepared for an evening of classic Bollywood music. Tickets for the event cost $3500 for VIP, $20,000 for VVIP and $2000 general admission. Children under 13 will be admitted at a cost of $1000.

Party fans are urged to deck out in their most sizzling ‘yellow outfits’ and come out to have a rollicking time as the song diva belt out some of her pulsating singles. That aside, patrons can mingle with and soak up the vibes as DJ Breeze, Selector Andre and DJ Puffy create a ‘musical inferno’ like never before.
