The Central Council of Tibetan Medicine has opened a new category of membership as Friends of Tibetan Medicine. Anyone can register for this membership irrespective of one’s background such as profession, race, sex, age, etc. The lifetime membership fee for friends of Tibetan Medicine membership is only US $100 or INR. 4500. The benefits a member gets includes a lifetime stamped Identity card, the opportunity to join national and international conferences, seminars and workshops on Sowa Rigpa, a free subscription to the biannual ‘Sorig’ Newsletters, Medicine Buddha Initiations, Medical empowerment and Medical oral transmission program organized by CCTM office and discounts on CDs, DVDs and books published by CCTM.
