Two and a half weeks after Therese Gunn resigned from South Gwinnett High School, she turned herself in to the Gwinnett County jail on Friday evening.

Gunn, 53, of Grayson was arrested on charges of sexual assault Therese and three Gunn counts of contributing to the delin-

quency of a minor after an alleged sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student. Gunn turned herself in at 6:22 p.m. shortly after arrest warrants were signed. She was released on a $21,700 bond at 1:06 a.m. on Saturday. Gunn resigned from South Gwinnett on April

19, and a sexual assault police report was filed the next day with Gwinnett County police, spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera said. Pihera has said the relationship began sometime in March and has since ended. The report said that some of the sexual activity oc-

Patsy Heldt Mrs. Patsy Ann Bruce Heldt, age 73 of Loganville, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Heldt was born July 26, 1942 in Postelle, TN to the late Cecil Bruce and Bonnie Patterson Bruce. A member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Postelle, TN, she was preceded in death by four siblings, infant brother, Cecil Bruce, Jr., brother, Max Bruce, sister, Marilyn Hamby and sister, Louise Breeden. In her spare time, Patsy enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and she also liked to shop. Dianne Leach Dianne Emily (Heinzelmann) Leach, age 82, resident of Johns Creek, GA passed on Saturday, April 16th 2016. Dianne was born on March 9, 1934 in Port Chester, NY to Alphonse Heinzelmann and Mable Jensen Heinzelmann. She lived in Rockville Centre on Long Island, NY with her parents and two sisters, Joyce and Janet. She graduated from South Side High School in 1951. While there she met Henry Leach and ultimately married him on December 4, 1954. She raised a family of four children, Henry Jay (Nancy), Craig Andrew (Margaret), Erik Jensen (Christine) and Alison Dianne in the same community. In 1991 Henry and Dianne moved to Hinesville, GA. They stayed there until they moved to Sugar Hill, GA to be closer to family in Atlanta. Dianne was a member of the Red Hatters Society where she made many friends that stayed very close to her especially in her last months. also found that the teacher hosted a party at her home in Grayson, and during the party, the teacher allowed the 17-year-old and two female students to smoke marijuana under her direct supervision. According to the detective, the teacher smoked marijuana as well.

Stearsman. She is also survived by her great-nephews Ryan McCullough, Grant Stearsman and great-niece Gentry Stearsman. Mary loved life and life loved her. She was a big NFL fan and especially loved Kenny Stabler. After the death of her sister Cheryl, Mary turned to baseball always rooting for the Atlanta Braves. She loved music and was the first one on the dance floor showing up any competitor. She traveled, many places with her mother and her sister April including California, Hawaii, New York, and Canada. One of her best trips was to Las Vegas where she attended a Garth Brooks concert. Mary went to school/ work from the age of 4. Over her life she attended the Group Aid For Retarded Children, MARC, Brewer Center in Mobile, Alabama, enjoying Special Olympic swimming, bowling and dancing. In 1989 she and her mother moved to Norcross, Georgia where she attended Hi Hope Service Center in Lawrenceville for over 20 years. She worked at Sears, Olive Garden and California Dreaming with the support of a work coach from Hi-Hope. Mary lived with April and Willie for twelve years after her mother died in 2002. Then in 2013 due to her declining abilities/ health, Mary came back to Mobile to live at Mulherin Custodial Home where she was reunited with friends from childhood. A visitation will be held at Eternal Hills Funeral Home at 394 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, Georgia on Tuesday, May 10th , 2016 from 10:00 am-12 followed by a graveside service at Arlington Memorial Park at 201 Mt Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, Georgia, at 2:00 pm.
