On behalf of the Avon Rotary Club, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the highly anticipated 2023 Avon Rotary Corn Festival! As the Committee Chairman and Club President, we are thrilled to be hosting this year’s festivities on Saturday, August 12th.
The Avon Rotary Corn Festival has become a beloved tradition in our community, celebrating not only the bountiful harvest of our local cornfields but also the spirit of togetherness and joy that our town embodies. This year, we are excited to bring you an even more remarkable event, filled with fun, laughter, and of course, mouthwatering corn.
As we come together, it is important to remember that portions of the proceeds from this remarkable occasion are dedicated to uplifting our local community through support for organizations such as Theresa House, Honor Flight, Avon Scouts, Youth Exchange programs, youth sports, the Avon Library, and scholarships to talented Avon students. But our impact does not stop there, for we extend our reach across borders, touching lives worldwide. From constructing schools in the heart of Nicaragua, to providing essential aid to Ukrainian refugees, fighting Polio, and empowering aspiring students
in Africa through scholarships, our commitment to making a difference knows no boundaries.
We eagerly await your return to this year’s festival. Stroll along the streets with numerous arts & crafts vendors, indulge in a wide array of festival foods and treats (particularly Avon Rotary’s famous corn fritters), immerse yourself in captivating live music and dance performances showcased on three different stages, savor a local craft brew at our Beer Garden, and dance to your heart’s content with a lively concert by the beloved local party band, the Skycoasters, to close out the night.
I am extremely grateful for the hard work of our committee, community volunteers, the Village and Town of Avon, our local police, firefighters, and EMTs, and of course our many corporate sponsors that make this day possible. Without them we wouldn’t be here.

Right here in Avon, NY! In 2019 Matthews Buses purchased the entire East Avon Plaza to convert into our largest, most state-of-the-art school bus support location. During an extensive refit of the aging building, we upgraded office space, added a service shop, a huge collision and paint shop, and a school bus technician training faculty. Along the way we installed all LED lighting and complete geo-thermal heating and cooling. Most of all, we are absolutely thrilled to be in Avon, NY. Thank you for the amazingly warm welcome!
