P&P gives $1M to charities P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited has extended Christmas cheer to 10 care-giving charitable organisations, donating $100,000 to them each. The donations were made recently at the National Library. Company Director Mr Bish Panday said the
insurance firm was very happy to do the good gesture, which has become an annual exercise during the Christmas holidays. “All of you in your own way have been making a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate, and we are happy to contribute to the cause,” said Mr Panday. Acknowledging that
the day-to-day running of charitable organisations can be financially stressful, Mr Panday said the money will come in handy. Over the years, P&P has embarked on reaching out to communities and assisting the less fortunate. “ To d a y i s a n o t h e r manifestation of that commitment, which we
hope to continue with in the future,” the P&P Director said. The charitable organisations that benefitted are Bless the Children Home, Canaan
Children Home, Ptolemy Reid Rehab Centre, Uncle Eddie’s Home, Friends of the Archer’s Home,the Dharam Shala, David Rose School for the Handicapped, Cheshire Homes Guyana, Hauraruni
Girls Home and Bright Horizon Family. The recipients expressed gratitude to the P&P Group, and assured the company that the money will be put to good use.
