Pele Football Club annual general meeting set for October 28 PELE Football Club will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on Thursday October28, 2015 at 18:30hrs at Congress Place, Sophia with all financial members expected to attend. The meeting will also include the election of office-bearers for the new term. Currently the executives are John Yates (president), Allister Paris (1st vice-president), Alexander Best (2nd vice- president), Mark Archer (secretary), Eustace
John Yates Harcourt (treasurer), Roxanne Keith (asst. secretary/
treasurer) and Cecil Jacques (Immediate Past President) Under Article 26 of the club’s constitution the Annual General Meeting is held every two years. The AGM is the meeting at which all regular members assemble. It represents the supreme legislative authority of the club. Election of the members of the executive to conduct the business of the club for the next two years will be held at this meeting.
Cameron expects 2016 India tour of the Caribbean to go ahead WEST Indies Cricket Board (WICB) president Dave Cameron is confident that a planned tour of the Caribbean by India next year will go ahead. The WICB and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have failed to agree on much since the Windies abandoned a bi-lateral tour of India last year. The West Indies, who were in India to play five One Day Internationals, a Twenty20 International and three Test matches, left the country midway after the fourth One Dayer in

In terms of compensation, the BCCI had demanded US$42M, but the regional body had stated that the amount was out of the question. The organisations have made several attempts to resolve the issue since. However, after a recent meeting in Mumbai, Cameron described talks in a two-hour meeting between the two as “cordial and fruitful”.
