All Winchester Safes, except the Bandit Series, have gone through and passed the rigorous testing for burglary protection by Underwriters Laboratories (UL®). In fact, due to our innovation in 1991, we were the first safe manufacturer worldwide to be listed by UL® under the Residential Security Container (RSC) category. Today, we are recognized as the industry leader in raising the level of security of gun safes. Every Winchester Safe has also been tested and approved as a California DOJ firearm safety device.

Several years ago, we had a vision to once again manufacture Winchester Safes back in our home town of Fort Worth, Texas. We knew that with an honest, hard working team, we could manufacture the highest quality safes at a great value. By investing heavily in some of the most highly automated and sophisticated manufacturing equipment and facilities available, we made that vision a reality. Today we build each USA-manufactured safe using the very latest technology in laser cutting, robotic-tended forming equipment and robotic welding. From there, the safes enter a state-of-the-art powder paint system where they are given a VOC-free powder paint finish. This equipment enables us to build safes with the finest fit, consistency and finish in the industry, allowing us to produce and build safes faster than any of our competitors. A finished safe comes off of our production line, ready to be shipped, every 2.2 minutes. Before shipping, each safe undergoes a rigorous inspection by our skilled technicians to ensure our high standards for quality are met so that you, the consumer, have the very best protection for everything you will secure inside the safe. In 2016, we expanded our USA-made series of safes and scrutinized every last build specification to further improve upon the quality the Winchester brand has long been known for. We added the Ranger and Defender series and a well-rounded selection of speciality safes, from a quality Closet safe to the perfectly appointed Tactical safe to our line of Made in USA products in response to continued demand. with Sargent & Greenleaf® UL listed locks. Our Tactical, Big Daddy and Home Office safes come standard with electronic locks, and all other models have an optional electronic lock upgrade from their factory mechanical locks.

3 PALUSOL® SEAL

HEAT EXPANDABLE DOOR

When subjected to heat, Palusol® expands several times its size to seal the door, creating a protective barrier against heat and smoke. Unlike cheaper seals, Palusol® displays impressive performance, maintaining its shape in rigorous tests and real-life experiences (take a look at our fire testimony on the next page). We use Palusol® on every safe we make, and even two layers on our Silverado and Legacy series

Someone broke into the house today and really tore the place up. They got some money and jewelry but what really saved the day is they spent so much of their time trying to grind open the Winchester safe we just got. They got the door bolts off and couldn’t get it off of course because of the numerous bolts inside the door as well so they tried to cut into the side. When they realized they were getting nowhere we believe the mail lady spooked them off when she drove by. The construction of a safe is crucial to its ability to withstand extreme conditions. Fireboard plays the ultimate role in fire protection. At Winchester Safes, we utilize thicker fireboard and an increased number of layers to provide safes with superior fire ratings than our competitors. Our safes are fire rated at an advanced temperature of 1400°F. That’s a 17% increase to the industry standard of 1200°F. Winchester Safes incorporates an external hinge design in all of our doors. This allows 180 degrees of swing, but it also plays a central role in fire protection. An external door hinge means there are no relief cuts in the fireboard to allow the door to close. Other companies choose an internal hinge design, which demands a relief cut from the fireboard. The problem with this design choice is that it leaves little or no room for insulation in the relief cut area. Heat can directly transfer into the interior of the safe. When heat enters your safe, your valuables are no longer protected. Winchester Safes exclusively use Palusol® Heat Expandable Door Seal on all of our safes, which when subjected to heat, expands at least six times its size to seal the door, creating a barrier against heat and smoke.

Hey Winchester, Just wanted you to know that the Silverado 38 did the job with flying colors.I was in Korea for a month for work and I came home to find the home ransacked and flooded. The intruders ruptured the water heater but that’s another story. Those jokers tried and tried to get in the gun safe and failed miserably. They even took tools out of my toolbox to try and find a way into it. The most damage they did was using a crowbar on the top of the door and in the corners to try and pry it open. Now it’s a little scratched up and the top of the door is a little boogered up but that’s all cosmetic.The metal clasps inside the door were bent a little but I bent them back into shape so the door doesn’t sway when closed. Thanks for making good products and taking care of my stuff. My brother and parents each have Winchester Silverados and we stand by that decision. Will Fyfe
