Pulsar launches three new products at Shot Show
LEADING thermal optics manufacturer Pulsar has extended its already impressive range with not one, nor two, but three new releases made simultaneously at the SHOT show in January.
First in the line-up is the long-awaited thermal imaging riflescope, the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 PRO— a Thermion with a built-in precision laser rangefinder. The integrated compact laser rangefinder fits into a single optical channel and features a measuring distance of up to 800 metres and thermal detection range up to 1,800 metres.
The Thermion is joined by a compact thermal imaging riflescope, the Talion XQ38. The user-centred design of the Talion XQ38 proudly carries the Made in Europe flag and is designed to fully adapt to the hunter’s needs. Starting with the multi-point mounting prism for exact positioning on the rifle, you simply move the riflescope back and forth until you reach the most comfortable viewing position.
In order to eliminate distractions as much as possible, there’s a new battery cover for the Talion that features a rapid extraction latch for fast and flawless battery replacement, even in complete darkness. The access to the controls has been simplified and Pulsar has implemented a new touch feature—particularly convenient for night shooting—a precise focusing ring with an integrated fin lever. This enables correct focusing in an instant, with no need for you to look at the riflescope.
Last is the Axion 2 XQ35 and its LRF version of thermal vision monoculars. These feature a high sensitivity French-made Lynred thermal imaging sensor, upgraded image quality and extended battery life, while maintaining the premium feel of European design and best in class measuring accuracy. All this comes at a better price than ever before.
Pulsar’s products are distributed in the UK by Thomas Jacks and the company is considered to be one of the leading thermal imaging and night vision manufacturers in the world, with a product range of over 30 riflescopes, monoculars and binoculars.
The company behind Pulsar is Yukon Advanced Optics Worldwide. The company was founded in 1998 and its headquarters are in Vilnius, Lithuania. It makes products for the civilian market only and has offices and manufacturing facilities around the globe as well as a distribution network that covers more than 70 countries. GTN
